A laid-back family of four is looking for an outgoing, experienced nanny to join their family. They have two children, 15-month-old twins. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience working with twin or multiple children close in age.

Their daughters are very curious about the world and just love to explore. They are looking for someone who enjoys being outdoors and can take the girls on adventures. The nanny should have recent experience with toddlers and preschoolers. The family is also interested to see if they can find a candidate who can bring a unique skill set to this role. If you speak a second language or play an instrument, this is a huge plus. Must be comfortable around dogs. Their family has a shiba inu.

Start Date: July 1st
Schedule: Monday-Friday, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay is $35-$40. (Higher compensation is in accordance with experience.)
PTO, including paid federal holidays. There are two weeks of vacation and a discretionary performance bonus.
Negotiable Health Care Stipend

Covid Risk Tolerance:
The family is open about Covid but asks that the applicant is up to date on vaccinations.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of the children
Light housekeeping (e,g, emptying and loading dishwasher, cleaning up after children, doing children laundry.)
Ability to change diapers and eventually potty train.
To ensure they stay stocked, keep track of children’s items (e.g., diapers, wipes, milk, toys etc.).
Engaged in facilitating intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, enrichment, reading, flashcards, games and active play, etc.)
Will find activities in the neighborhood to suggest, for example, classes or playgroups.
Outgoing and friendly (i.e., will make friends with other nannies, arrange playdates, etc.)
Ability to make school lunches and very simple meals for the children
Adhere to the children’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, any afterschool activities, etc.)

Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 3 years of Professional Nanny Experience
Minimum of 3 amazing references
Newborn experience
Valid Driver’s License
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccination and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
