Families Location: Greenwich Village, Manhattan, NY
Number of children and Age: 2 children, 4.5-year-old son & 2.5-year-old daughter.
Type of Position: Full time, Live out. Must be flexible.
Schedule: Monday – Fridays, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm plus extra 1-2 hours weekly (52 hrs).
Compensation & benefits: $30-$35/hr. DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, 6 federal holidays and 5 sick days.).
Start Date: 06/15/2025
Travel Required: No.
Additional info: Both parents will have days where they will work from home. It is usually Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the mother and Tuesdays and Thursday for the father.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background of working with multiple children, ages ranging from Pre-K to early elementary school. They must engage and play with the children and be capable of creating inspiring and safe activities that foster their growth and curiosity.

The family is looking for someone who is nurturing, communicative, punctual, active, knowledgeable, and highly organized. The nanny should be respectful and supportive of the family’s parenting style and childcare preferences. Must be punctual. Being communicative with the parents and providing check-ins is important. Should be comfortable working alongside the parents, for one parent is usually working from home depending on their schedule.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
● Prioritize safety while adhering to the families' parenting styles and childcare philosophies.
● Bring their children to school and other activities
● Ability to create healthy meals and snacks for the children.
● Engage the children in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts, and encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities.
● Assist with bath times and changing clothes.
● Assist with light housekeeping, e.g., washing dishes, organizing the children’s room and play area
● Perform related duties such as laundry, tidying the children's areas, organizing toys and books.

Qualifications:
● US Citizen.
● A minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience.
● Experience in caring for Pre-K to Kindergarten children
● Experience in providing care to multiple children
● Must be able to make basic meals for the children
● Basic Tech Savvy
● Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
● CPR and First-Aid certifications
