Nanny Needed for Infant in Tribeca, NY

A loving family in Tribeca, NYC, is looking for a college educated nanny with a background in early childhood education. Their son will be 4 months old at the start of the position and would love to find someone who has this background as well as experienced caring for infants.

The ideal person for their role is Someone passionate about nurturing the growth and development of the infants and the children in their care. (E.g., actively looking for ways to enhance child development.) Lastly, this is a nut-free household, and you must be comfortable around a very shy cat.

Start Date (Contact date): March Ending
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am - 5pm. 50 hrs.
Live-out/in: Live out.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay is $30-$35, which is an annualized base compensation of 85k-100k. (Higher compensation is in accordance with experience.)
PTO, including paid federal holidays. There are two weeks of vacation and a discretionary performance bonus.

Covid Risk Tolerance:
The family is open about Covid but asks that the applicant is up to date on vaccinations.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of the infant
Light housekeeping (e,g, emptying and loading dishwasher, cleaning up after children, doing children laundry.)
Ability to change diapers and eventually potty train.
To ensure they stay stocked, keep track of child’s items (e.g., diapers, wipes, milk, etc.).
Engaged in facilitating intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, enrichment, reading, flashcards, games and active play, etc.)
Will find activities in the neighborhood to suggest, for example, classes or playgroups.
Outgoing and friendly (i.e., will make friends with other nannies, arrange playdates, etc.)
Ability to make school lunches and very simple meals for the infant
Adhere to the child’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, any afterschool activities, etc.)

Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 3 years of professional Nanny experience
Minimum of 3 amazing references
Recent toddler experience
Passport Ready
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccination and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
