A busy family in Murray Hills is looking for a proactive nanny for their 3 year old son. Although their son will be in camp during the summer, and in school next fall. It is important for the family to have coverage. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with experience working with school age children. Someone who is fun, loving, and engaging. Someone who can take their son on various outdoor activities, bake with him, read to him as well as drop him off and pick him up from camp and school. This family has a cat so the nanny must be comfortable working in a home with pets.
Start Date Asap
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am - 6 pm, (50-hrs a week.)
Live-out/in: Live out.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay is $30 an hour.
PTO, including paid federal holidays. There are two weeks of vacation, 5 sick days and a discretionary performance bonus.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their son.
To ensure they stay stocked, keep track of child’s items (e.g., snacks, food, milk, etc.).
Engaged in facilitating intellectual development (e.g., word games, numbers, enrichment, reading, flashcards, puzzles and active play, etc.)
Will find activities in the neighborhood to suggest, for example, classes or playgroups.
Outgoing and friendly (i.e., will make friends with other nannies, arrange playdates, etc.)
Ability to make school lunches and very simple meals for the toddler
Adhere to the child’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, any afterschool activities, etc.)
Light housekeeping (e,g, emptying and loading dishwasher, cleaning up after children, doing child’s laundry.)
Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 3 years of professional Nanny experience
Minimum of 3 amazing references
Newborn and toddler experience
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccination and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
