Nanny Needed In Novato, CA

A loving family in Novato, CA, is looking for an organized, calm, and punctual nanny for  an 11-month-old girl with very occasional assistance for a 2.5-year-old boy.The boy attends daycare full-time. So, the Nanny’s focus would be on caring for the infant daughter and assisting the toddler son after daycare when needed.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who enjoys childcare and has experience working with toddlers and infants. Someone that is respectful, organized, and punctual. They must have a calm presence in addition to being able to create an engaging, happy, and stimulating atmosphere for her children. The Nanny must be proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently.

This position is a live-out position:
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. (40-50/hrs. work week) Additional hours may be required with notice. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.
Compensation & Benefits
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $30-$35 hour, PTO, including paid federal holidays. There are two weeks of vacation and a discretionary performance bonus.
Covid Risk Tolerance:
The family is strict about Covid. They would go places wearing their mask.
Start Date: Begins on 02/01/2023 but is negotiable. This is a long-term role.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of the children and their spaces (bedrooms, playroom)
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of the children
Adhere to the children’s schedule (e.g., feeding times, naps, activities out of the home, etc.)
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
Ability to make meals for the children
Laundry for the children once or twice per week as needed.
Manage all aspects of the children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.
Light Housekeeping: dishwasher and keeping children space clean
Qualifications:
● US, Work Authorization
● Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
● Infant Experience
● Toddler experience
● Driver’s License, will be able to use a family car.
● Up to date on all vaccinations
● Covid vaccination and boosted
● CPR and First-Aid certifications
