Families Location: San Francisco, CA
Number of children and Age: 1 newborn (expected early December 2025)
Schedule:
* First 2 weeks: 24/7 coverage
* Following week: 7 days (day and night coverage)
* Remaining 6 months: 5 days per week (schedule to be agreed upon)
Compensation & benefits: $45–$55/hr. Meals and accommodations provided during overnight/extended coverage.
Start Date: First week of December 2025

A loving couple in San Francisco is seeking a highly experienced Newborn Care Specialist to support them with their first child, expected in December. The specialist will provide hands-on newborn care, guide the family through the early months, and help establish healthy sleep and feeding routines.
The family is looking for someone warm, professional, and knowledgeable, who can balance hands-on infant care with educating new parents on best practices. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth transition home and supporting the baby’s development during the first six months.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Provide comprehensive newborn care, including feeding, diapering, swaddling, soothing, and bathing.
* Track and maintain detailed logs of feeding, sleeping, and developmental milestones.
* Guide parents on newborn care, sleep conditioning, and establishing healthy schedules.
* Perform baby-related household tasks such as bottle sterilization, nursery organization, and baby laundry.
* Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for the baby.
* Respect family privacy while working alongside parents in the home.
Qualifications:
* Legally authorized to work in the United States.
* A minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience as a Newborn Care Specialist or night nurse
* Current CPR and First Aid certifications (infant).
* Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
* Strong knowledge of infant sleep training and feeding practices.
* Excellent references from previous families.
* Compassionate, patient, and supportive demeanor.
* Ability to commit to the full 6-month schedule, including intensive early weeks.
