A loving family in Scarsdale, NY, seeks a warm, amazing, nanny for their infant. The ideal candidate for this role is an individual who has infant experience and is passionate about delivering an engaging, developmentally suitable care from infancy through the early toddler stage.

The ideal nanny should possess qualities of compassion, communication, commitment, proactivity, self-motivation, and the ability to independently tackle challenges. Tag-teaming with the parent in their approach to childcare, with effective communication being of utmost importance. Driving capability is a must and a clean driving record is preferred. Additionally, as both parents work flexibly from home, the nanny should be comfortable working closely and collaboratively with them.

This position is either Full-time, Live-out:
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (40 hours a week).
Additional hours may be required with notice. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $30-$40 per hour, PTO (e.g, paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.)
A discretionary performance bonus.

Covid Risk Tolerance:
The family is open about Covid, however, the candidate should be covid, tdap and flu vaccinated.

Start Date: Begins on 01/15/2024 or Febuary 2024. This is a long-term role.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their child
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style.
Manage daily care and supervision of their child.
Sterilizing and preparing bottles (Breast milk or formula), handling basic meal preparation during the introduction of solid foods.
Adhere to their child’s schedule (e.g., Nap, feeding, awake window, classes and doctor’s appointments and later playdates and after-school activities.)
Collaborating with and updating parents
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., color, shapes, words, numbers, stories, puzzles, arts and crafts etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes.
Ability to plan fun activities, keeping their child active and engaged.
Assisting with general tidying related to the child's needs.
Laundry for their child.
Manage all aspects of their child’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes after laundry, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.

Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 4 years of professional Nanny experience
A minimum of 3 Exceptional references
Newborn to toddler Experience
Driver’s License (Having a clean driving record is preferred.)
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccination and boosted.
CPR and First-Aid certifications
