Part-time Creative & Enthusiastic Nanny Needed In Battery Park City

Families Location: Battery Park City, New York, NY (Closer to Tribeca)
Number of children and Age: 2 children, 4-year-old and 2-year-old daughter.
Type of Position: Part-time, long-term.
Schedule: Monday – Fridays, 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm (25 hrs). Flexibility to cover full days (7:45am-6pm) during school vacations is a bonus.
Compensation & benefits: $35-$45 (PTO, federal holidays and 5 sick days.).
Start Date: ASAP
Travel Required: None.

Family Overview:
A warm, easy-going family in Battery Park, NY, is seeking an energetic and caring nanny to support their two daughters, ages 4 and 2. The ideal candidate has experience caring for multiple children and is comfortable managing school pickups, transportation to after-school activities, and providing attentive care through the evening.

The nanny will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that encourages both children’s growth and development. The family values someone who is organized, communicative, and knowledgeable, and who is respectful of their parenting style and childcare preferences. A Mandarin speaker is a welcome bonus, though not required

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide attentive, nurturing care for two children (ages 4 and 2)
Create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment
Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, play, and learning experiences
Support emotional development, routines, and positive behavior
Support potty training
Pick up children from school and transport them safely to after-school activities
Manage afternoon and evening routines, including snacks and transitions
Communicate schedule updates and daily highlights with parents
Prepare simple, healthy snacks or simple meals for the children
Keep children’s areas organized and tidy
Assist with light child-related tasks (laundry, organizing toys, packing bags)
Maintain open, respectful communication with parents
Follow and support the family’s parenting style and childcare preferences
Bonus / Nice-to-Have: Use Mandarin with the children if fluent (not required)

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for Toddlers and Pre-K children.
Must be comfortable with basic food prep for their children.
Mandarin Speaker, Nice-to-Have but not required.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
