Part-time Executive Housekeeper Needed for Family in Vero Beach, FL

Families Location: Vero Beach, FL
Number of children and Age: 2 children, 7-year-old, and a 10-year-old.
Type of Position: Part time, Live out.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, (25-35 hr.) Flexible schedule.
Compensation & benefits: $35-$38 DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, 6 federal holidays and 5 sick days.).

Family Overview:
A warm and loving family of four, with two children (ages 7 and 10) and a dog, is seeking an energetic, proactive Executive Housekeeper to support their busy household. The family home operates on a structured schedule and is maintained to an exceptionally high standard. The ideal candidate takes genuine pride in creating and maintaining a beautiful, organized, and well-run home and is comfortable working in a lively household environment that can occasionally be hectic. Previous experience working in large estate homes is strongly preferred.

This is not a sole-charge position; the Executive Housekeeper will work alongside a small, collaborative household team, including additional staff who work on set schedules and a regularly present House Manager. The successful candidate will be warm, self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently without constant direction. They will integrate seamlessly into the household, work well with others, and bring a strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Laundry three times per week: washing, drying, folding, and putting away
Ironing: work pants, children's uniforms, and household linens
Daily dry mopping of all floors
Steam mopping twice per week
Tidying of all bedrooms and bathrooms daily
Kitchen support: dishes, dinner preparation assistance, and table setting
Afternoon snack preparation for the children; school lunch preparation during the school year
Feeding and general care of the family dog
Washing and re-stuffing dog beds weekly
Cleaning of porch and garage weekly
Management and sorting of incoming packages and deliveries
Regular appliance cleaning
Spot cleaning of furniture as needed
Refrigerator cleanout weekly
Assistance with packing and unpacking before and after family trips
When the family is traveling, perform deep cleaning projects such as washing porch, cushions, and any other projects and additional tasks that are difficult to complete when the entire family is present.

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 3 years of professional housekeeping experience.
Must be comfortable work with other household staff members
Must be comfortable around pets, specifically dogs
CPR and First-Aid certifications
