Number of children and Age: 1 child, 4 years old son.
Type of Position: Part-time, Live out. Must be flexible.
Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday 12-6pm and Wed 8am-6pm (34 hrs)
Compensation & benefits: $34-$40/hr
Start Date: ASAP
Travel Required: Ability to travel with the family to the Shore some weeks over the summer
Additional info: This is a hybrid role that’s 75% household management and 25% childcare. The family has a small dog & cat.

Family Overview:
A warm and loving family in Hoboken, NJ, is seeking a fun, and trustworthy household manager with Pre-K childcare experience. The candidate duties will include performing household errands such as light housekeeping, household laundry, organization, grocery shipping, plant care, and cooking for the family. They must engage and provide care to their son, being capable of transporting him to and from Pre-K once a week, and afterschool activities. When at home, the nanny must be able to create stimulating and safe activities that foster his growth and curiosity. The family is looking for someone who is initiative, reliable, knowledgeable, and highly organized. The nanny should be respectful and supportive of the family’s parenting style and childcare preferences.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style.
Engage their son in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts, and encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities.
Assist with their sons’ bath times and changing clothes.
Prioritize safety and maintain a clean environment of their household. Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of all living spaces.
Manage the family calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Manage daily care and supervision of their son. Adhere to their son’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, and any plan after-school activities.) Must be able to identify and perform household tasks light housekeeping, organizing, dishes, and the child’s laundry.
Running errands for the household (e.g., shopping, dry cleaning)
Handle the household inventory, supplies, and stocking essentials prior to son's scheduled pick-up.
The ability to create thoughtful and nutritious meal plans, and the skills to prepare meals for the family.

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience
Experience in caring for pre-k to school age children
Basic Tech Savvy
Up-to-date vaccinations ( Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
