A lovely family of four, nestled in Tribeca, is seeking a temporary (until the baby reaches 1 year old) part-time nanny for their 2 month old. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience with infants and toddlers. The family has a toddler that will mainly be with the second nanny. The ideal nanny should possess qualities such as compassion, effective communication, proactiveness, and the ability to confidently handle various child development milestones and situations. Individuals who have the ability to be creative and foster an engaging, proactive, and calm atmosphere will help excel in this role. Collaboration is key, as you'll be working closely with both Mom and another nanny as a unified team. Must be comfortable with Baby Lead Weaning.

This position is a flexible, part-time live-out:
The schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 2:00 am – 6:00 pm (20 hours a week).
Additional hours may be required with notice. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $35-$45 per hour, PTO (e.g, paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.)
A discretionary performance bonus.

Covid Risk Tolerance:
The ideal candidate would be vaccinated and would take reasonable steps to help prevent spreading germs (wear a mask if she has the sniffles/cough).

Start Date: Begins asap. This is a temporary role is at least 9 month.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their newborn
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of their newborn
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, overlooking any schoolwork, etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
Ability to plan fun activities, keeping their newborn active and engage
Ability to make very simple BLW meals for the newborn when they hit that milestone.
Manage all aspects of their daughter’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes after laundry, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.

Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
Infant children experience
Toddler children experience
Up to date on all vaccinations
CPR and First-Aid certifications
