Family’s Location: Brooklyn, NY
Number of children and Age: 1 child, 7 months old (at time of start date).
Type of Position: Part time, Live out. Must be flexible.
Schedule: Tuesdays – Fridays, approx 10:30 am to 7:00 pm with some flexibility needed (min. guarantee of 30 hour weeks).
Compensation & benefits:
$27-$32/hr (gross). Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the base hourly rate for hours exceeding 40 per week.
Benefits: PTO (10 days paid vacation, most federal holidays and 3 sick days).
MTA reimbursement.
Healthcare stipend can be negotiated DOE.
Start Date: 02/25/2025.
Travel Required: No
Additional info: The family has two small attentive dogs. Also, their residence has three floors. The nanny must feel comfortable around dogs and must be comfortable walking up & down the steps daily.

A warm and loving family in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a dependable and experienced nanny to care for their 7-month-old son. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infant care and be skilled in supporting developmental milestones. The family is looking for someone who is nurturing, energetic, organized, self-motivated, quick to learn, and able to problem-solve independently. The nanny must also be comfortable around dogs (and comfortable with letting them out in the yard, or feeding them from time to time) and adaptable to working in a three-story home.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Prioritize safety and maintain a clean environment for their son, adhering to the families' parenting styles and childcare philosophies. Engage their son in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts, and encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities.
Manage daily routines, including mealtime—preparing solid food, following nap, and play schedules for their infant. Assist with light housekeeping related duties such as laundry for son, tidying son’s areas, helping with dishwasher, organizing toys and books, and maintaining diaper bags.

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for infants.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
Being a bilingual Spanish speaker is a plus.
