Families Location: Hell's Kitchen, New York, NY
Number of children and Age: 2 children, 4 & 5 years old daughters.
Type of Position: Part time, Live out. Must be flexible.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 3:30-6:30pm
Compensation & benefits: $45-$55+ DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, 6 federal holidays and 5 sick days.).
Start Date: ASAP.
Travel Required: No.
Pet: Small Yorkie

Family Overview:
A loving family in New York, NY is seeking a professional, highly educated nanny to support their household and care for their 2 daughters. The ideal candidate is someone with experience working with curious & expressive young children. The family hopes to find the right candidate that’s trustworthy, and will enrich the lives of their daughters.

In addition to childcare, the family would appreciate help with supportive household tasks that keep the home running smoothly. Responsibilities may include managing the children’s schedule, planning fun, yet, educational activities, running occasional errands, meal preparation, and light tidying around the home. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, knowledgeable, energetic, patient, organized, and kind.


Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pick kids up from school
Providing nurturing & attentive care for the family’s 2 daughters, including engaging in age-appropriate play such as reading, activities promoting creativity, and outings
Maintaining their daughter’s daily routine, including meals, and educational activities
Planning fun and enriching activities that encourage learning and creativity. In addition, being patient and encouraging the daughters without putting unnecessary pressure on them
For the youngest daughter, the candidate must provide meaningful one-to-one time when the oldest daughter is in afterschool activities
Keeping the child’s spaces tidy and organized

Running occasional errands (groceries, pickups, etc.).


Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 4 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for Pre-K & Kindergarten children.
Must have a bachelor's degree, or higher, and/or a strong Early Childhood education background.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
