Number of children and Age: 2 children, 6-year-old daughter & 9-year-old son.
Type of Position: Full- time, Live out. Must be flexible. This position duration is 10 months, for the family is away during the months of July & August. These two months are unpaid. Great opportunity for a nanny that loves to travel in the summer.
Schedule: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Compensation & benefits: $40-$45 DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, federal holidays and sick days.).
Start Date: 09/21/2026.
Travel Required: No.

Family Overview:
A loving family in New York, NY is seeking a professional nanny, with a childhood education background to support their household and care for their 2 children. The ideal candidate is someone with experience working with school-age children who can reinforce value to their children and help maintain their consistent daily routine. In addition to childcare, the family would appreciate help with supportive household tasks that keep the home running smoothly. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, communicative, organized, and calm.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first
Transportation of the children from school to afterschool activities, and home
Maintaining the children’s daily routine, meals preparation, & bath time
Provide additional focus for their son:
Assist in building up his executive functioning skills
Provide assistance/guidance for his homework
Assist with his OT exercise, specifically fine motor and core exercise
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children (and occasionally assisting with family meal prep)
Children’s laundry and keeping the children’s spaces tidy and organized
Light household support such as tidying common areas, unloading/loading the dishwasher, and general organization
Running occasional errands (groceries, pickups, etc.)
Helping keep the household running smoothly while offering extra support to the family during this time.


Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for school-age children.
Experience providing care to special needs children.
Must have childhood education or related background.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
