A caring family residing in the Upper West Side is in search of an exceptional nanny for their 2-year-old boy. They desire a professional and nurturing individual to become part of their parenting unit. The perfect candidate should possess prior experience with toddlers and preschoolers, fostering an enriching and imaginative atmosphere for their son's development. Additionally, the candidate must be able to manage transportation to and from school and extracurricular activities, as well as assist with household help while their little one is in school, this includes, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.

This position is a flexible, Full-time, live-out:
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (50 hours a week). Additional hours may be required with notice. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $28-$30 per hour, PTO (e.g, paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.)
A discretionary performance bonus.

Covid Risk Tolerance:
The ideal candidate would be vaccinated and would take reasonable steps to help prevent spreading germs (wear a mask if she has the sniffles/cough).

Start Date: Begins on 04/15/2024. This is a long-term role.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Ensure the safety and well-being of their son at all times.
Provide attentive and specialized care for their son, considering their unique needs and development stages.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their son
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of their son
Engage in age-appropriate activities to encourage the child's cognitive and motor skill development. (e.g., picking things up, words, numbers, stories, puzzles, etc.)
Adhere to their son’s schedule (e.g., any plan playdates, doctors appointments, and activities.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
Ability to plan fun activities, keeping their son active and engaged
Ability to cook for their son and prep meals for parents.
Laundry for their son.
Manage all aspects of their child’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes after laundry, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Specializing in children aged 0-5.
A minimum of three wonderful references
Knowledge of toddler development and childcare best practices.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Loving disposition.
Clear communication, comfort communicating honestly in difficult situations.
