A casual Jersey City, NJ family seeks a professional, live-out nanny for their 9-month-old son. Both parents have high-performing, demanding careers. Though one of them will work from home full time. So, the nanny must be comfortable working in close partnership with work-from-home parent.
The ideal nanny is friendly, caring, clean & organized, and a great team player. They must have experience working with infants, exhibit calm under pressure and can bring their knowledge of early childhood development. Ability to create an engaging, happy, and stimulating atmosphere will help excel in this role.

This position is a live-out position:
This is a full-time, live-out position.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:15 AM - 6:15 PM. (40-50/hrs work weeks) Additional hours may be required with notice. So an ideal candidate who is flexible.
Pet Care:
The family has a hypoallergic dog. So, the candidates may be task to let the dog go into the yard and refill his water dish.
Compensation & Benefits
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $30-35 hour, PTO, including paid federal holidays. There are two weeks of vacation and a discretionary performance bonus.
Start Date: Early September. This is a long-term role.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of the infant
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Solids and bottle feedings, diaper changes, children’s laundry, keeping track of children items to ensure they stay stocked, planning engaging and age-appropriate activities, and eventually potty training!
Manage daily care and supervision of infant
Adhere to the infant’s schedule, including naps/sleep, bath and activities
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, enrichment, etc.)
Facilitate physical development (e.g. running, stacking, using utensils, etc.) in a high-energy, creative, and playful way
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
Manage all aspects of infant’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.
Ability to make very simple meals for infant.
Laundry for infant.
Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 5-years of professional full-time or part-time childcare experience
Infant experience
Childcare Development Education
Basic Tech Savvy
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccinated and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
