Family Overview:
A family with two young children, ages 16 months and 33 months, is seeking an experienced, warm, highly organized, and travel-ready nanny / housekeeper to support the father and become a consistent presence in the children’s lives.
The primary focus of this position is providing attentive, developmentally appropriate childcare during the father’s parenting time. The children are generally with him 4–6 nights and 4–8 evenings per month, including every other weekend and one or two weekday evenings. When the children are not in his care, the position will focus more heavily on household organization, laundry, supplies, groceries, and day-to-day light housekeeping. Because the children transition between two households, strong organization is essential.
The nanny will help ensure their clothing, medications, school supplies, comfort items, toys, and travel essentials are clean, organized, stocked, and ready for each transition.
The family spends portions of the year in New York City, West Palm Beach, and Southampton. The ideal candidate is nurturing, discreet, dependable, flexible, and comfortable with travel and a changing seasonal schedule.
