Weekend Live-In Nanny/Housekeeper Needed Manhattan & Greenwich, CT

Location: Manhattan, NY (weekdays) & Greenwich, CT (weekends)
Schedule: Friday 4:00 PM – Sunday evening (48-hour live-in block)
Children: 2 school-aged children (ages 5 & 8)
Compensation: taken home $800–$900
Weekend Travel: Required weekly (Manhattan → Greenwich, CT)


Family Overview
A warm and active family based in Manhattan is seeking a loving, reliable, and easy-going live-in weekend nanny who will accompany them to their Connecticut home each weekend. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative, hands-on household where the parents are highly involved with their children. While childcare is part of the routine, the position includes a strong household-support component to help keep the home running smoothly over the weekend.

The ideal nanny enjoys both energetic time with children and taking pride in maintaining an organized, welcoming home environment. The children are well-mannered, independent, and enjoy activities, so a nanny who is upbeat, playful, and happy to join in will thrive here.

English fluency is required, and strong communication skills are important.

Key Responsibilities:
Children & Family Support
Join and remain with family weekly from Friday late afternoon through Sunday evening
Supervise and engage children in a positive, fun, and supportive way
Drive children to weekend activities and outings
Swim supervision as needed (pool on property)

Household Tasks (Light & Ongoing)
General tidying and surface wipe-downs
Load/unload dishwasher and maintain kitchen cleanliness
Family laundry (wash, fold, organize)
Empty trash and maintain tidy common spaces
Restock household essentials and light grocery organization
Occasional vacuuming
Prepare simple family meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Note: Deep cleaning is not required — the family already employs a housekeeper.

Requirements
Ability to live-in Friday through Sunday consistently
Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare or Housekeeping experience
Must drive confidently (local driving & child transport required)
Must swim well and feel comfortable with pool supervision
Fluent English speaker
Responsible, warm, and easy-going personality
Current vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID + booster)
CPR and First Aid certified
