Weekend Nanny for Toddler Twins in Tribeca

Families Location: Tribeca, NY
Number of children and Age: 2 children, 18 months old twin son & daughter.
Type of Position: Part-time, Live-out/live-in (Tribeca & Hamptons.) Must be flexible.
Schedule: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm (sometimes later), from Saturday to Sunday. Holiday work is expected except for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and July 4th
Compensation & benefits: $35-$40/ hr, PTO (5 PAID WEEKENDS OVER CALENDAR YEAR)
Start Date: asap
Travel Required: Yes. The family will spend their summers in the Hamptons. Should be able to travel with the families in and out of the country for family vacations as necessary from time to time.
Private room and bath when in the Hamptons.

A warm and loving family in Tribeca, NY, is seeking a nurturing, organized, and experienced nanny to care for their 19-month-old twins. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with toddlers and multiple children, along with a solid understanding of developmental milestones and age-appropriate play. They should be skilled at creating engaging, fun, and stimulating activities that foster growth and curiosity.
The family is looking for someone who is loving, dependable, and highly organized. Summer travel to the Hamptons is expected, and while fluency in French is a plus, it is not required. Most importantly, the nanny should be respectful and supportive of the family’s parenting style and childcare preferences. Should be comfortable working alongside the parents.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Prioritize safety while adhering to the families' parenting styles and childcare philosophies.
Ability to create healthy meals and snacks for the twins.
Engage their children in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts, and encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities.
Assist with bath times and changing clothes.
Assist with light housekeeping, clean dishes, organizing the children’s room and play area, diaper bag, bottle and pacifiers sterilizing/cleaning is needed.
Perform related duties such as laundry, tidying children's areas, organizing toys and books, and maintaining diaper bags.

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience. Exp with twins preferred but not mandatory.
Experience in caring for toddlers.
Basic Tech Savvy.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
Being bilingual in French is a huge bonus.
