A wonderful, formal family in Belvedere, California is looking for a proactive and developmentally focused nanny for their 2 sons, ages 6 and 1. The oldest son is fun, loving, curious and creative and the youngest son is very similar but strongly interested in music. The family is looking for someone who has experience with multiple children and can balance both boys' interests.
The ideal candidate for this position is patient, kind, and attentive. They should be punctual, consistent, and great with children. Someone who is organized and a self-starter and knows how to troubleshoot issues on their own. The family loves to travel, and they are hopeful that the nanny that they are looking for also shares that same traveling enthusiasm. The family will provide a vehicle if needed. They also live near the water, so swimming is required. In addition, being tech savvy is expected of their nanny. The family has a miniature poodle, a fish, and a horse (not at their residence). In other words, the candidate must be pet friendly.
Job Detail (Position detail can change as the family works out their needs)
This position is a live-in position:
The schedule is flexible; full time, from 40-50 hours, including some weekends and evenings.
Nanny will live in a separate home next door to their home.
Must be covid vaccinated and already boosted or with plans to be boosted.
Traveling Details
This position requires traveling. Despite covid, the family still travels a few times a year.
Compensation & Benefits
All positions are paid gross with overtime. This position is $30-$45 hour, and PTO [7 Paid federal holidays, 2 weeks of vacation, one week overlapping with family, and 3 sick days] and a discretionary performance bonus.

Start Date: This is a long-term role, and the position starts as soon as the family can find the right candidate.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Primary Responsibilities:
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g. reading, spelling, numbers, arts and crafts, enrichment, etc)
Facilitate physical development (e.g. running, climbing, stacking, using utensils, etc) in a high-energy, creative and playful way
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates
Organize calendar, arranging outings, etc.
Active engagement and clear communication with work-at-home parents
Embraces family parenting style
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their sons
Cook and prepare healthy meals and snacks for both of their sons
Adhere to their children’s schedule, including naps/sleep and activities
Manage all aspects of the child’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization – including, meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, etc.
